Informed by a foundation in fine art and documentary photography, Ava’s recent projects include FLOOD TIDE, a feature length narrative/documentary hybrid directed by Todd Chandler; numerous narrative short films including THE THING, directed by Rhys Ernst and premiering at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival; and the documentary project POSTCARDS FROM HERE, which offers a visceral portrait of the former Soviet Republic of Armenia and is part of Braden King’s multi-media platform motion picture project: HERE. Ava was born in the United Kingdom and raised in California.
